I was stitching happily away, and was adding some of the beads to the project when I came upon this....

I have beads that have TARNISHED!!!
TARNISHED! I could classify this as a tragedy! The white beads in the snowflakes and the grey beads in the snowflakes (amoungst the blue stitching) are the same beads! Only applied at different times. The grey beads were attached at the beginning of this year, the white beads attached at the beginning of this month. Like, what's up with that!?!?!
I had initially thought that I would just attach the white beads and hope that they tarnished too before I actually got the project framed. But now I've decided that I don't like the look of the tarnish. It just looks tarnished. Blah. Bleh. So now I must go through all the hassle of unstitching these beads and finding a new, suitable match to stitch on in their place. Without going in to detail.....this is a hassle. Trust me. Let's take another, closer look at these bothersome beads....

These beads are also located between the snowflakes. They are the grey/black beads in this picture, not the other white beads.
So, without doubt, this plays havoc with my deadline. I had originally wanted to finish this project by the end of this year. Now I've been throw into a tussle. Sigh.
