Ohhh, the cake....

So I was convinced by the sisters to enter a cake in a contest, interpreting my favorite t-shirt from an online company. I worked on my cake, slaved on my cake, then went to post pictures of my cake, and saw many other fabulous interpretations of other peoples favorite t-shirt for an online company in the form of cake! Not only that, but I didn't take any wacky pictures of me making the cake, or eating it for that matter, so I'm kinda the odd man out with the cake. Regardless, I sent the pictures in. And now I'm posting them here so everyone can see my cake.
This is titled..."the loch ness imposter meets the loch ness monster". Of course the t-shirt I interpreted is also called "the loch ness imposter" Great t-shirt from threadless. Anyhow, the cake is half gone now.....

Oh . . . . my . . . . GOD!

That's friggin' AWWWWWWsome! I KNEW you wouldn't let me down! Sorry if I sound way too excited, but I feel like I've just eaten that whole cake myself! It's just . . . I mean -- including the "real" Loch Ness monster is the creme de la creme (icing de la icing?) How creative is THAT? I absolutely lurve his expression (good work on the eyebrows!). He's all, "WTF?" HA!

Yeah, they got an insane amount of entries to the contest and some of them are pretty good. (Like the Voyage of Discovery one. How did they manage THAT?) Win or lose, I think you can be more than proud of your cake. It's awwwwwwsome with six w's. I'm actually glad I wasn't there to eat it this time. It would have killed me to see that cake being cut up!

P.S.:

1) Where are all these other photos of people baking and eating their cakes of which you speak? Speaking of speaking of something, I wouldn't worry about all those other photos - it's a cake-making competition, not a cake-photography competition, so I wouldn't feel guilty about it.

2) Would it be alright if I a) posted a photo of your cake on my blog or b) linked to your blog on my blog? Because I really want everyone to see your cake. (Everyone = the 5 people who read my blog, of which you are one)

Yeah, by all means. Post a linkie away! I thought at one point I had your blog linked here, but i think it disappeared. Not really sure why. I'll have to put it up again sometime.
And, yes, it is hard to cut up the cake!! But M doesn't seem to have any trouble in that department!

Your cake is amazing... there are some other really great ones in the contest, but yours is such a neat interpretation of the shirt, whereas everyone else's are just copies of the shirt. So, as your over-exuberant sis said, it's frggin' AWWWWWWEsome, with six w's.
