How about a little backyard patio hockey???? Nothing like partaking in a little Canadian sport...sans ice (we can't all skate anyways).
I hate to say this (dad) but she gets more excited about playing hockey than she does golf. I really wonder if it has something to do with the fact that she can really connect with the ball in hockey...and it's about 50/50 when she tries to play golf. Anyhow, when we head out into the backyard for some fresh air, the first thing she does is ask if anyone wants to play hockey. She sets up her hockey net, tries to find the ball (it's white; not sure who made THAT choice..) and gets her hockey stick. At that point it's time for a little.....she shoots...SHE SCORES!
Unless of course she gets suckered into being in the net.
And here's the power wind up. Trust me. She's got a pretty good slapshot. Only problem is her aim. Like I said....beware!

Hockey IS a fun sport. WAY more easier than golf...and this is coming from Auntie. It also helps when you have a complete pink snow outfit to match your stick!
